Glanmire 3-16 Na Piarsaigh 0-4
The Glanmire minor team recorded a comprehensive victory in perfect condidtions in CIT on Wednesday night. They defeated Na Piarsaighs second team on a scoreline of 3-16 to 0-4 to advance to the next round of championship and add to the glory of their Non exam league v St Nicolas the previous week. this game was never in much doubt from the start as Glanmire cruised to a 5 point lead before Na Piarsaigh recorded their first score and went in at the break with a 1-8 to 0-1 lead. It was business as usual in the second half as Glanmire scored 4 points in the first 5 minutes of the half and secured their victory with some more points throughout. they ended in impressive fashion with a superb goal from Ronan Organ followed by a Wayne Rooney-esque volley from substitute Brian Dawson with 2 minutes to go. Most impressive on the night for Glanmire were Jeff Leopold, Duncan Tsu and David Murphy.
